Toyota launches its new campaign in eastern and northern Europe. The agency Saatchi Brussels entrusted Johnatan Broda with the direction of this spot, produced by Lovo Films and designed/animated at ChezEddy.
The Toyota client is multifaceted: he is found of nice cars, likes aestheticism, is keen on speed, and concerned about safety. To decline these different personalities, Johnatan Broda stages a live character of whom animated alter egos come out.
To turn his back on the 3D trend that rules in advertising, the alter egos are in 2D. Mehdi Leffad is in charge of the character design and ChezEddy of the post-production. The challenge is up: create eight versions of the character to address a dozen countries of different cultures. Not a piece of cake to handle whilst keeping your creative sense, but the challenge is taken up with flying colors!
Johnatan Brod is now Jon/Jon represented for french market at ChezEddy.
