Headless signs with ChezEddy

Headless is a collective of three directors based between Paris and Barcelona.

A dozen days ago at the Cartoon Movie Forum in Lyon, Victor Maldonado, Adrian Garcia and Alfredo Torres were presenting the teaser for “My family and the wolf”, produced by Nectarious Films (Christine Ponzevera, ex Nexus) and released on the web today. A feature film that is meant to be a love letter to childhood summers, evoking the precious memories of lights, sensations and smells.

When they start their career, Adrian and Victor work on character design while Alfredo specializes in layout and animation. Adrian and Victor come to art direction and directing a little later, and create the feature film “Nocturna” (coproduced with France), which wins the Goya to Best animation movie in 2007. It is on “Nocturna” that they start working with Alfredo, in charge of storyboard supervision and background design, and who ends up codirecting the film with them. The Headless collective is created in 2008 and gets spotted in 2010 with the teaser for “I’m a monster” that enjoyed a true takeoff on the Internet.

Headless, “three characters, a single mind, no head at all”: three complementary talents, naturally gifted in animation and character design. They offer a colorful, very cheerful, warm and smiling universe that both children and grown-ups can relate to. We truly like the magical and yet so realistic side of their characters, presented in an ultra fluid animation edited with talent. Welcome to Headless!
